Chocolate Days Festival

The city of Bayonne, which is situated in South West France, hosts every year the fantastic Chocolate Days Festival. This amazing and fascinating event is dedicated to the best-known tradition of the city – chocolate making. This tradition was introduced to the city of Bayonne by Jewish people who arrived from Portugal. Local people adopted this craft and refined it. Later, the city became the best-known location for chocolate making. The festival is held every year on the 14th and 15th of May. (February 2013) If you love chocolate and you are interested in chocolate making, I suggest you not to miss this fantastic festival.

French Open

Later in spring, between the 23rd of May and the 7th of June (February 2013) Paris hosts a fantastic event named French Open. It is actually a tennis championship, one of the best-known sports events in France. This event is extremely popular among visitors, so be prepared for crowds and if you want to attend the event, make sure to buy your tickets in time.
