Auron

Auron is a fantastic resort, situated in the northern part of the Alpes-Maritimes. If you would like to spend a couple of days in a traditional village resort, choosing Auron is the best decision. The skiable area of the resort is considered the largest of the region, thus it is not surprising that Auron attracts dozens of visitors every year. Besides the fantastic spots activities, it offers a lot of fun for children, too. The skiable are lies between the altitude of 1.600 m and 2.450 m, offering 18 ski lifts, 6 ski tows, 8 chair lifts and 3 cable cars. As for the accommodation, there are comfortable hotels in the resort, making your holiday even more enjoyable.

La Colmiane Valdeblore

Situated in the north-eastern part of the region, La Colmiane Valdeblore is actually part of a commune which is made up of 4 villages. It is not only a winter resort, attracting visitors during the summer season, too. The resort of La Colmiane Valdeblore has on offer spectacular skiable area lying between the altitude of 1.450 m and 1.800 m. It offers 30 km of ski slopes and a large area dedicated to snowboarders. Besides skiing and snowboarding, visitors have the occasion to explore fantastic religious sites, like churches and monuments, also the villages’ traditional architecture.

Valberg

Another popular ski resort is Valberg. Located in the north-western part of the Alpes-Maritimes, the amazing resort can be found in the Mercantour Massif. The resort is very well equipped, with over 20 ski lifts, 16 ski tows and 7 chair lifts. The attractiveness of the resort is increased by the fact that there is even artificial snow used for skiing, extending the ski season. Between the altitude of 1.500 m and 2.011 m, the skiable area offers excellent opportunity for alpine skiing.

Isola 2.000

Last, but not less fantastic is the Isola 2.000 resort. Located near the Italian border, the resort offers 120 km of outstanding pistes (between the altitude of 1.800 m and 2.610 m). Isola 2.000 is famous for its natural and cultural attractions and the huge variety of activities on offer. With 20 ski lift, 10 ski tows and 7 chair lifts among others, the resort attracts dozens of visitors yearly.
